Regal’s Summer Movie Express Schedule for 2019!

Regal Cinema’s Summer Movie Express is one of the best things about summer. Why? Because you can get tickets to family-friendly shows for just $1!

Going to the movies is fun with kids, but it gets down-right expensive. Regal’s Summer Movie Express is a great way to “test out” how a younger child may handle a movie in the theater – especially if you’re juggling an older and younger child at once. It’s a way to allow older kids to have fun outside of home or camp without a massive price tag. Or some days, it’s a cheap way to get in the A/C and down a snack 🙂 .

For the 2019 Regal Summer Movie Express, participating theaters choose which movies to present. Showtimes vary by location as well, but generally it’s on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10am.

In our area, the closes participating theaters are: Regal Warrington, Regal Richland Crossing (Quakertown), Regal Oaks, and Regal Plymouth Meeting (Conshohocken). These theaters each show both movies on both days. Based on these locations, the general schedule seems to be:

Week 1 (June 18 & 19): Lego Batman Movie & House with a Clock in its Walls

Week 2 (June 25 & 26): Teen Titans Go! To the Movies & Paddington 2

Week 3 (July 2 & 3): Despicable Me 3 & Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch (2018 version)

Week 4 (July 9 & 10): Lego Movie 2 & How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World

Week 5 (July 16 & 17): Smallfoot & Secret Life of Pets

Week 6 (July 23 & 24): Lego Movie & Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie

Week 7 (July 30 & 31): Sing & How to Train Your Dragon 2

Week 8 (Aug 6 & 7): Penguins of Madagascar & Boss Baby

Week 9 (Aug 13 & 14): Kung Fu Panda 3 & Lego Ninjago Movie

Week 10 (Aug 20 & 21): Trolls & Minions

Week 11 (Aug 27 & 28): Madagascar & Shrek 2

Week 12 (Sept 3 & 4): How to Train Your Dragon & Storks

For those looking for steep savings all around, keep in mind that concessions are offered at a regular rate.

Be sure to confirm all details with the theater you plan to attend before arrival as well!
