All Hallow’s Eve Fall Festival
October 20, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Pennypacker Mills will host an afternoon of fun and old-fashioned fall activities on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 1-4pm.
Imaginations come alive as children paint their own pumpkin, play old-fashioned games, make crafts, and the whole family can enjoy a hay ride.
The mansion will not be open for tours on this day.
The event is FREE!
Old Fashioned Farm Fun:
• Tractor Pulled Hayrides – All aboard!
• Corn Shucking
• Apple Cider Press
• Make a black cat with pipe cleaner whiskers
• Create a ghost in a window
• Share a 3-D witch card
• Color and wear an owl mask! Whoo!
• Pumpkin painting – pick your pumpkin & decorate it with paints
• Bean bag toss into giant pumpkin faces
• Jump in the hay pile
• Enjoy apple cider, candy corn and cookies
• Stop by our food vendor for a quick lunch
• Stop to buy Halloween décor and old-fashioned candies
Pennypacker Mills, known for its original collection of 18th through early 20th century decorative arts, furnishings, official
and personal documents, offers guided tours, changing exhibits, educational programs, seasonal events, and workshops
during the year. Admission & parking are free. The Pennypacker mansion offers visitors a glimpse of life in the early 1900’s
when the Pennypacker family lived here. Museum hours are 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday; 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Sunday. Closed Mondays and major holidays. Pennypacker Mills is located at 5 Haldeman Road, Schwenksville, PA. For information, visit http://www.montcopa.org/
*A word of advice: We strongly suggest that families select their pumpkin first, paint it, and leave it to dry before doing all the other activities. Pumpkins are first-come, first serve.
