Tennis is one of those sports that you can pursue it however you want. You can get super competitive. You can get an intense workout from it. In an article NPUT wrote last year, we mentioned several of the physical benefits of the game such as: “cardiovascular fitness, coordination, motor control, and flexibility. This can translate into improved stress management, problem-solving skills, and coping skills.” Or, it can be a social endeavor – or a leisurely pastime. For families, tennis is something adults and children could feasibly play together. Or, age groups can play separately. The bottom line: tennis brings a lot to the table.
Have you visited Frog Hollow Racquet Club yet? If you’re interested in tennis and haven’t yet, you should! Specifically, come out to their Open House on Saturday, September 8, 2018 to tour the facility!
The Open House promises to be a great time. You’ll be able to tour the facility (more on that in a minute), of course. But there’s also a lot more happening! There will be tennis games and drills happening throughout the event. It’s a great chance to jump in on the action (and get your kid in there to see how they like it!). You can chat with the coaches. And to keep the kids happy: there’s a bounce house, balloon art, face painting, and more! Add some water ice to that list. That one is good for the parents too 😊.
Need an extra incentive to attend? You can get discounts on memberships, clinics, and the pro shop!
Frog Hollow really has a great facility. There’s several outdoor clay courts AND indoor courts. There’s a nice clubhouse connecting everything as well. They’ve gone the extra mile by adding heaters to keep spectators warmer in the winter. Weather isn’t an obstacle here.
There’s lots of variety in programming for kids. There are multiple instructional and competitive levels. You can choose a group or private lesson setting. Summer Camps are popular too!
Don’t forget that Frog Hollow can be for adults too! They even offer some babysitting services if you have little ones at home and still want to get out to play. Hours often go until about 10pm. So if you need to go in the late evening, you’re covered.
With so much to offer, it’s definitely worth learning more about Frog Hollow! The Open House will run rain or shine, so mark your calendars! You can pre-register at frogtennis.com or by calling (610) 584-5502.
